Dr. Abhishek Desai
Dr. Abhishek Desai, DDS, attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Desai took ownership of his current practice, Desai Dental Care, in March 2023, where he has since continued to provide exceptional care. Being a team member and advocate for his patients is also a role he appreciates deeply. He also finds it incredible to have the ability to get his patients out of pain quickly and effectively. He values the trust they place in him to present all possible treatment options, guide their decisions, and successfully execute their treatment.
Dr. Desai is also immensely proud of the team at Desai Dental Care. Their high skill level is matched by their care and compassion in looking after our patients. The dynamic goes beyond employer and employee, where all team members inspire each other to improve continually. This fosters a collaborative atmosphere that is the foundation for exceptional patient care.
When he is not at the office helping patients, Dr.Desai loves playing golf, traveling, hiking, cooking, doing home improvement projects, and listening to music. A unique fact that people might not know about Dr. Desai is that he is an avid follower of astrophysics and any space-related developments.
Stacy Baumeister
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stacy’s responsibilities at Desai Dental Care are providing preventive care and teeth cleanings and educating her patients to achieve and maintain healthy lifelong smiles. She finds it very satisfying to watch someone transition from a lifetime of dental problems to their healthiest smile. A graduate of Temple University, Stacy has worked in dentistry since 1985 and brought her wealth of experience to our dental team in 2018.
In her free time, you’ll find Stacy golfing, biking, and spending time with her family and dogs. Her unique hobby is repurposing thrift store finds; a fun fact is that she won a soup cook-off contest with her baked potato soup recipe.
Abigail Lees
Dental Assistant
Abigail received her training at Oceanpointe Dental Academy, and she loves helping our patients feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable. Her responsibilities are assisting the dentists during procedures, maintaining a clean environment, and keeping the instruments and rooms clean and safe. She also takes x-rays and performs dental scans.
Before joining the dental field, Abigail was a certified nurse assistant for almost a decade, then chose to take her career in a different direction. She wanted to stay in the healthcare field and decided that dentistry was the perfect fit!
Abigail has numerous interests in her spare time, including writing music, playing drums, singing, hiking, having bonfires, camping, and cooking. Something people might not know about Abigail is that she loves horses.
Sabrina Retalis
Business Coordinator
Sabrina graduated from Bucks County Technical School for dental assisting. She then went on to Manor Junior College and completed her certification for expanded functions dental assisting. Sabrina has also received training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the University of Pacific in San Francisco.
Sabrina holds an x-ray license in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a certified dental assistant in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, an EFDA in Pennsylvania, and an RDA in New Jersey. She currently enjoys working with the patients at the front desk and helping them with their financial and insurance questions.
A New Jersey resident, Sabrina and her husband enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and boating.
